Music Development Plan

What is the Music Development Plan?

Our school music development plan is a strategic document that sets out how a we will develop, strengthen and celebrate music education over time. In line with national guidance, it explains St John’s vision for music, identifies current strengths and areas for improvement, and outlines clear actions, responsibilities and timelines. Our plan shows how all pupils will have access to a broad and inclusive music curriculum, regular opportunities to sing, perform, listen and compose, and the chance to experience a range of musical styles and traditions.
