The School Day

Getting to and from school

Where possible, walking to and from school is definitely the best option, it is healthier than travelling by car. If you do travel to school by car, please remember to park away from the school and be considerate to our neighbours on Westmorland Avenue.

Drop off and pick up from school

We encourage all parent, carers and grandparents onto our playgrounds when dropping off and collecting their children. This helps build up close relationships between families and staff as we want to have good links with all our parents and carers.

Start and finish times

Nursery

Morning Nursery starts at 8.45am and ends at 11.45.

Reception

School starts at 8.55am and finishes at 3.15pm.

Lunch is 12.00 -1pm

Our Reception and Nursery children have access to continuous outdoor provision during the school day and therefore there are no set break times.

Year 1 & 2

School starts at 8.55am and finishes at 3.15pm.

Morning break is 10.45am - 11am

Lunch is 12-1pm

Afternoon break is 2.30pm - 2.45pm

 Years 3,4,5 & 6

School starts at 8.55am and finishes at 3.15pm.

Years 3 & 4 morning break is 10.30am - 10.45am.

Years 5 & 6 morning break is 10.45am - 11.00am.

Lunch is 12.05pm - 12.55pm
